Refund Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

An AgentShield subscription starts protecting your agents the minute it is paid. Policies go live, the approval gate starts holding risky tool calls and the audit trail starts recording. Because the service is delivered from the first second of each billing period, every subscription payment is final and is not returned, apart from the three situations listed further down.

The short version

  • Developer, Team, Scale and Enterprise are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and the charge for a period stays with us once that period has started.
  • You can switch off renewal at any time in your workspace billing settings. Your workspace keeps working until the paid period ends.
  • We return money only for a duplicate charge caused by us, a proven unauthorized charge, or a complete outage of the service.

Situations that do not lead to a refund

The fee pays for access to the control plane during the period, not for the number of requests it inspects. A charge is therefore kept when, for example:

  • your agents sent little or no traffic through AgentShield during the period, or the integration was never finished on your side,
  • a policy you wrote blocked or held actions you later wanted to allow, or allowed something you would rather have stopped,
  • your team moved the agent project to another vendor or paused it partway through the period,
  • you forgot to switch off renewal before the next monthly or yearly charge,
  • you picked a larger plan than you ended up needing, or chose yearly billing and changed your mind later,
  • the workspace was closed by us for a breach of the Terms of Service.

The three exceptions

Duplicate charge. If an error on our side charged you twice for the same plan and period, we return the extra charge in full.

Unauthorized charge. If someone used your card without permission and you report it to us within 14 days of the charge, we review the payment record and the account activity. When the charge is confirmed as unauthorized, we return it and close the workspace that was paid for.

Complete outage. If the AgentShield service was entirely unavailable to you for a long stretch of a paid period because of a fault on our side, and you told us while it was happening, we may return the part of the fee that matches the time it was down. Slow responses, a single failed request or a problem in your own agent code do not count as an outage.

Any amount we return goes back to the card that paid it and never exceeds what was paid for that period.

How to ask

Write to [email protected] from the email address on your workspace, within 14 days of the charge. Tell us the date and amount and which of the three exceptions applies. We answer every request in writing.

Cancelling and changing plans

Turning off renewal stops all future charges. It does not reverse a payment already taken, and there are no partial refunds for the days left in a month or year. Your agents stay protected until the paid period runs out. When you move up to a larger plan, the difference is charged right away. When you move down, the smaller plan starts at the next renewal and nothing is returned to the card.

Renewals and retried payments

Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each period until renewal is turned off. If a renewal payment fails, it remains due and the operator that processes our payments retries it. A renewal that has gone through is final under this policy.

Records we keep

For every subscription we keep your acceptance of the Terms at checkout, the activity log of your workspace (sign-ins, policy changes, agent traffic) and the payment record held by our payment operator, including the result of 3D Secure verification. We use these records when we review a refund request or a dispute.

Card disputes

Please contact us before you open a dispute with your bank. Filing a chargeback for a valid charge without writing to us first is a breach of the Terms, and we may close the workspace while the dispute is open. We share the records above with the card network so it can decide.

Starting the service straight away

By completing checkout you ask us to start the service immediately. Where consumer law gives you a right to withdraw from a contract for digital services, you agree that this right ends once the service has begun.

Earlier purchases

Payments made before October 14, 2026 stay under the terms that applied when they were made.
